Kensington Palace has released a new photo of the Prince of Wales hugged by his three children for Father’s Day.

It shows William at Windsor Castle, seated with a fatherly arm around his eldest son, Prince George.

Princess Charlotte sits at her father’s right in a dress adorned with daisies, resting her hands on his knee and smiling at him.

Prince Louis, the youngest of the trio, has his arms around William’s neck and is smiling broadly.

They sit on a bench inscribed with the date April 21, 2016 – the day their great-grandmother Elizabeth II turned 90.

It comes after the family celebrated the King’s official birthday at Saturday’s Trooping the Colour, which saw more than 1,400 troops line up on the Mall and march in formation around the Horse Guards Parade.

Louis managed to steal the spotlight from his siblings by sticking out his tongue at the audience and wrinkling his nose at the smell of horse manure.

Later in the day, he was photographed paying his respects and covering his ears as 70 RAF jets roared over Buckingham Palace during the flyover.

Like his father, the Prince of Wales attended Trooping the Color on horseback, accompanied by the Princess Royal and the Duke of Edinburgh.

It is the first time a monarch has mounted for the ceremony since 1986, when the late Queen rode her favorite horse, Burma.
