Philip Scofield has broken his silence on new job rumors after saying his career is over

Philip Scofield’s lawyer has denied rumors the disgraced presenter has a new TV job amid speculation of a comeback.

The former This Morning presenter, 61, sensationally quit his ITV role before admitting a relationship with a younger colleague a week later. Philip previously said his career was “over” following the This Morning scandal and cutting ties with ITV after admitting he lied about the affair.

However, Phil’s lawyer was forced to shut down rumors that he had a new job following the scandal after a PR expert intervened in the situation. “TalkTV could be the career recovery platform that Scofield needs right now,” the expert claimed.

“If the current media spotlight doesn’t reveal any new allegations, then it’s completely recoverable for him and TalkTV could be the perfect place for him to start again in a high-profile media environment,” expert Andy Barr told Daily Star.

Andi said Philip needs to take time out of the limelight to protect his mental health. “I think the public will expect him to take a break from his career before announcing his comeback,” he added.
