Young George stole the show again today as he excitedly watched the planes in the magnificent 70-plane Trooping the Color flypast.

Heartwarming footage shows the nine-year-old prince eagerly identifying planes on the royal balcony as he marked the first King Charles’ birthday parade this Saturday.

Standing next to his two younger siblings, George was pictured pointing to the sky before speaking to his parents.

Although the audio is unclear, some believe George is identifying a plane to which the proud Prince of Wales appears to be saying “yeah that’s right good boy!”

All three royal children were in good spirits this morning as they arrived in a carriage at Buckingham Palace, ready for the festivities.

Around 70 aircraft from the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force took part in the six-minute display today.

Crowds gathered below as Hurricane and Spitfire jets took to the skies and soared over Buckingham Palace.

Eighteen Typhoon fighter jets also painted ‘CR’ for Charles Rex in a mesmerizing display – with ‘Rex’ referring to king in Latin.

A squadron of Red Arrows then concluded the event by spewing red, white and blue smoke over London.

This morning, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis traveled to Horse Guards Parade with their mother, the Princess of Wales and Queen Camilla for the Trooping the Colour.

They waved enthusiastically to the thousands of spectators who gathered outside Buckingham Palace and on The Mall as the King and Prince of Wales rode in on horseback.

Today was the first time a monarch has ridden a horse in Trooping the Color since Queen Elizabeth’s Burmese horse carried her during the 1986 ceremony.

The Royal Company traveled in the midst of the Sovereign’s mounted escort, composed of troops of the Household Cavalry’s Life Guards and the Blues and Royals.

George, Charlotte and Louis then took to the balcony of Buckingham Palace to enjoy the flight – after one set for the King’s coronation was downgraded in May.

The three royal children were joined by their mother and father, the Princess and Prince of Wales and King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Eight-year-old Princess Charlotte wore a white dress with red details and her hair was pulled back in intricate braids in a low bun.

Her brothers George, nine, and Louis, five, wore matching navy blue suits, white shirts and red ties – with their hair swept neatly to the side.

Around 70 aircraft from the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force took part in the six-minute flyover today.

The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said today’s plane took off from 15 locations up and down the UK before rendezvousing in south-east England and flying over London.

The event ended with a show of red, white and blue by the Red Arrows pilots.

The Ministry of Defense said many of the aircraft involved in the flight had been involved in operations around the world this year, including NATO’s air policing mission in Eastern Europe and the evacuation of British citizens from Sudan.

Charles was joined on Saturday by the Queen and members of the Royal Family to view their colors on the 1st Battalion of the Welsh Guards.

Trooping the Color has marked the sovereign’s official birthday – which takes place in June, although Charles was born in November – for more than 260 years.

It was the first time a full flypast had been possible during King Charles’ reign, after the Coronation flypast had to be scaled back in May due to bad weather.

Instead, helicopters and the Red Arrows were shown with footage from the sky showing how bad the weather was over London.

Birthday has been increased in size to pay tribute to the new monarch.

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Rich Knighton, said: “We are very proud to be able to showcase our capabilities to our Commander-in-Chief on this historic occasion for His Majesty The King.

“We have planned a fitting and appropriate tribute to our monarch which should be a real spectacle for the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.”

Air Officer Commanding 1 Group, Air Vice-Marshal Mark Flavin, said: “It is a great honor to be part of the celebrations for His Majesty the King’s birthday, where the flight is an opportunity for us to demonstrate formation, precision and excellence in the air of our Commander-in-Chief on such a special occasion.
