Her mum would be so proud – May Muller rises like a phoenix from the ashes to score her first UK Top 10 single with I Wrote A Song.
After an admittedly disappointing result in Liverpool (they just didn’t get it!!), the UK has well and truly rallied behind May, lifting I Wrote A Song up a whopping thirty-six places in the Official Singles Chart today, to a brand new peak of number 9 .
Foam party Zantecore, co-written by May, Karen Poole (Becky Hill, Kylie Minogue) and producer Lewis Thompson (Rita Ora, Joel Corey) co-produced by Alfred Parks (Lee Devine), hits a whole new high after initially rushing to debut at number 30 – the first UK Eurovision entry to debut in the Top 40 in over a decade.
I Wrote A Song also helps May enter an exciting new phase of her career, becoming her first Top 10 single. She previously reached the Top 40 with slow summer anthem Better Days with Neiked and Polo G in 2021 .

“Thank you so much for all the support, I can’t thank you enough. It couldn’t have happened without you, without the UK behind me. It was strange few days but it was just so amazing end of my Eurovision journey. I am so grateful.
“My first Top 10! This is a big deal, I can’t lie. This is only the beginning. I love you so much!”
